This full-time, contract opportunity seeks a bilingual Special Education Teacher skilled in both push-in and pull-out services. You’ll deliver direct support to students with IEPs in the general education classroom, as well as provide targeted instruction in small group settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license/certification
- Bilingual proficiency required
- Experience working with students with IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, students, and families
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs
- Experience with both inclusive (push-in) and resource/pull-out interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support students with IEPs in inclusive general education classrooms through co-teaching and differentiated instruction
- Provide small group or individualized instruction outside the classroom to target specific skill areas
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and ensure accommodations are met
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and create meaningful, goal-oriented plans for students
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all learners
