Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in teaching Math or Science at the high school level
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for students in grades 9-12
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom setting
• Collaborative mindset; comfortable working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction in Math or Science to students receiving special education services
• Monitor student progress, making data-driven adjustments to instruction and support
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and school counselors
• Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting
• Actively participate in professional development and school meetings
