A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting. This role requires a Moderate/Severe license and offers the opportunity to work with students in various grade spans including TK-6, TK-8, Middle School (7-8), or adult transition programs. Placement will be determined based on qualifications and school needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Manage a caseload typically capped at 12 students to ensure focused attention and support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other educators, therapists, and families, to promote student success.
- Monitor and report student progress regularly.
Qualifications:
- Valid Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching license.
- Experience working with students across a range of ages and needs within special education.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with families and school staff.
