Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold current Special Education teaching credentials for the state of California
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, staff, and service providers
• Passion for fostering student growth and advocating for inclusive learning environments
• Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and classroom management

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with a range of disabilities
• Design, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with the school team
• Progress monitor student achievement and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
• Partner with general education teachers, related service providers, and families for holistic student support
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
