Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with diverse learners, including those with varying abilities and needs
• Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with compliance documentation
• Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff
• Adaptable, resourceful, and able to create inclusive, positive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ academic, behavioral, and social needs to create effective IEPs
• Provide direct instruction in both individual and group settings, adapting curriculum as needed
• Monitor progress, maintain records, and report outcomes
• Collaborate with other educators, related service providers, and families to support student success
• Foster a respectful and encouraging classroom setting that empowers every learner
• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation and compliance reports
