Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4); candidates will be considered only with a valid certification and updated resume attached
- Previous experience in a Special Education Resource setting, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong knowledge of IEPs and experience implementing individualized education plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and lesson planning efficiently
- Adaptable, patient, and dedicated to student growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resource support for students with varied learning needs within an elementary school environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Work closely with general education teachers to support the inclusion and success of all students
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student on your caseload
- Communicate frequently with parents, administrators, and other stakeholders regarding student performance and needs
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
