Qualifications:

  • Minnesota Teaching Certification required; must hold Tier 3 or 4 licensure (please attach certificate and updated resume for consideration)
  • Proven experience teaching students with developmental or cognitive delays preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication abilities
  • Commitment to individualized, student-centered learning
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, administration, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for elementary students
  • Deliver engaging instruction adapted to meet diverse learning needs within a center-based classroom
  • Collaborate with specialists, related service providers, and families to support student success
  • Conduct ongoing assessments, track progress, and report updates as needed
  • Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with special education guidelines
