Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally within an Emotional Behavior Disorder Center-based setting
• Commitment to collaborating with academic teams, families, and support staff to ensure student success
• Strong communication skills with adaptability in dynamic situations
• Ability to tailor strategies and supports to meet a range of student needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) designed to support emotional, behavioral, and academic growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers to create inclusive, supportive classroom experiences
• Employ evidence-based behavioral and instructional strategies
• Lead small group and one-on-one interventions, tracking student progress and making data-driven adjustments
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
