Special Education Teacher - Elk River, MN

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience with elementary-aged students, especially those on the autism spectrum or with developmental delays
• Strong classroom management, adaptability, and collaborative skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Passion for facilitating growth and inclusion in a center-based program

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction within the Ready, Set, Launch program
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with other educators and specialists
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to each student's needs
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and progress
• Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams regarding student development
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and program participation

This is a full-time contract position, running from August 31, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a Monday-Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) in a dynamic educational community.
