Special Education Teacher in Elk River, MN

This full-time opportunity begins on August 31, 2026, and extends through June 10, 2027, offering a rewarding chance to provide specialized educational support Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You'll work in a setting III/centerbase LAUNCH program, collaborating with caring colleagues and making a real difference for students with exceptional needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Strong experience working with special education students in a school setting
• Ability to effectively manage and support a diverse caseload
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in the Setting III/centerbase LAUNCH program
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instruction as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and families
