Special Education Teacher | Elk River, Minnesota

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders
• Expertise in classroom management and individualized instruction
• Ability to collaborate with a team of educators, support staff, and families
• Up-to-date resume demonstrating relevant experience and credentials

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students with EBD
• Manage a full caseload, providing specialized support across Setting II/III and center-based classrooms
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
• Engage in ongoing communication with families to ensure student success

This contract runs from September 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, for 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The location is at a welcoming and resourceful middle school community where educators are valued and supported.
