Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and support within K–8 settings, with several openings suited for EI (emotional impairment), elementary, and other grade levels.
  • Use mild or intense intervention strategies, based on your background, to support students’ learning and development.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor student progress, and adapt teaching techniques to meet diverse needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana Teaching Certificate (or be in the process of securing one).
  • Certification/experience as a Special Education Teacher.
  • Familiarity with elementary, K-8, or emotional impairment (EI) programs.
  • Experience or willingness to deliver both mild and intense intervention services preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
