Key Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching certification for the state
• Previous experience with elementary or middle school resource room settings highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Adaptable teaching style and excellent classroom management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Develop and monitor academic and behavioral interventions
• Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility and review meetings
• Maintain timely documentation and progress reporting in accordance with school and district policies
