Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with high school students (grades 9-12)
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Proficiency in providing academic support within inclusive classroom settings
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners and learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct push-in resource support during classroom instruction for high school students with varying educational needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to modify lessons and ensure accommodations are met
  • Develop, review, and monitor IEPs in partnership with students, families, and staff
  • Create an encouraging and accessible environment to foster student growth and success
  • Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators to support student achievement
  • Actively engage in professional development throughout the school year

This opportunity features a Monday through Thursday workweek with hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm—giving you long weekends for personal time and relaxation.
