Special Education Teacher - Emporia, Kansas

• Active Kansas Special Education teaching license
• Experience working with middle or high school students preferred

Your role includes:

• Delivering individualized and small group instruction aligned with students' IEP goals
• Collaborating with general education staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented effectively
• Engaging in ongoing progress monitoring, data collection, and reporting
• Participating in IEP meetings and parent conferences as required
• Developing creative approaches and interventions to promote student growth and skill development
• Maintaining open and positive communication with families and school personnel

This contract position spans from August 19, 2026 to May 20, 2027 and is exclusively onsite, covering both a middle school and high school within the Emporia-area community.
