Three unique roles are available:

• Special Education Teacher for an Elementary Affective Needs (AN) Center (Full-time, 37.5 hours/week)
• Special Education Teacher for Middle School (Full-time, 37.5 hours/week)
• Special Education Teacher for Middle School AN Center (Full-time, 37.5 hours/week)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must possess current CDE (Colorado Department of Education) Special Education Generalist licensure
• Previous experience teaching students with diverse special needs preferred
• Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, families, and external specialists
• Ability to foster a positive, structured classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to meet students’ unique needs and abilities
• Manage IEPs, conduct assessments, and track student progress
• Collaborate with other Special Education staff, general education teachers, and related service providers
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Partner with families to support student learning and behavioral goals
• Implement behavioral interventions and classroom management strategies as appropriate
