Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required
• Background in special education, with experience in moderate to severe classroom settings preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve onsite in a full-time capacity with one moderate to severe needs classroom at the elementary school level
• Plan, implement, and monitor evidence-based instruction tailored to students’ unique learning profiles
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Effectively communicate with staff, therapists, and family members to ensure integrated support for each learner
• Maintain compliance with all documentation and legal requirements related to special education
