This full-time contract position spans the academic year, beginning in August and concluding in May. Work closely with a dedicated team to implement instructional best practices and deliver high-quality, specially designed instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active CDE Special Education (SPED) License with Generalist Endorsement (5-21) required; must provide verification that this license or endorsement has at least been applied for.
  • Only Professional Teacher Licenses will be considered—substitute, temporary, interim, or similar licenses are not eligible without appropriate application and documentation.
  • Extensive classroom experience in special education settings, particularly at the secondary level.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of individualized education plan (IEP) processes, including assessment, development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and adapt instructional strategies and supports for students working on alternative learning standards.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and service providers.
  • Committed to on-site instruction; virtual or hybrid options are not available.
