Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher credentials for Colorado
• Strong knowledge and experience with IEP development and implementation
• Ability to manage K-12 caseloads effectively
• Familiarity with both self-contained and resource classroom models preferred
• Demonstrated work ethic, professional growth mindset, and positive, collaborative attitude
• Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction and support to students with diverse needs
• Develop, update, and manage IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive practices
• Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to instruction
• Foster an encouraging, safe, and respectful classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
