Licensed High School Special Education Teacher in Englewood, CO

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with high school and/or middle school students in an instructional setting
• Strong grasp of IEP processes, documentation, and implementation
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in accordance with each student’s abilities and goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Track progress, document outcomes, and maintain compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive classroom environment for all students
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
