Special Education Teacher 26/27 School Year

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with varying educational needs.
• Provide direct instruction and classroom support in accordance with student goals and accommodations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet individual student needs.

Qualifications:
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License required.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students.
• Experience with IEP development and implementation.
• Familiarity with a variety of instructional and behavioral support strategies.
