Desired Qualifications:
- Active Colorado CDE Special Education Teaching license required
- Experience with high school caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with mild/moderate special education needs and/or experience teaching in SSN programs (Significant Support Needs) is highly desirable
- Commitment to cultivating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to high school students with mild/moderate learning differences (two positions)
- Teach and oversee an SSN program at Sheridan High School
- Collaborate with general education staff, families, and service providers
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a positive, empowering classroom atmosphere promoting student success
