Desired Qualifications:

• Active Colorado CDE Special Education Teaching license required
• Experience with high school caseloads preferred
• Familiarity with mild/moderate special education needs and/or experience teaching in SSN programs (Significant Support Needs) is highly desirable
• Commitment to cultivating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to high school students with mild/moderate learning differences (two positions)
• Teach and oversee an SSN program at Sheridan High School
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and service providers
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, empowering classroom atmosphere promoting student success
