Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (with an emphasis or endorsement in Cognitive Impairments, preferred)
- Successful teaching experience with young students in special education settings
- Strong classroom management techniques tailored for early grades
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families
- Ability to tailor and implement IEPs, collect data, and adjust strategies for individual needs

Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students in a K-2 special education setting, tailoring lessons to support various learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned caseload
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and external providers
- Utilize evidence-based practices and accommodate diverse learning profiles
