Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification required.
• Must hold either a 460 endorsement or a 145 endorsement (Middle School Intervention).
• Previous experience working in an inclusion or resource room setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of up to 20 students.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based strategies for individualized and group instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school teams.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Deliver instruction and intervention in accordance with IEP goals within an inclusion/resource room.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to adapt curriculum and instruction.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide ongoing feedback to families and team members.
• Use effective classroom management to create a positive, respectful, and engaged space for learning.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to support ongoing student success.
