Special Education Teacher in Ethel, LA

Make a meaningful impact as an Early Interventionist, working 20 hours per week to provide language instruction and homebound services for students requiring specialized educational support. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with early intervention certification
• Experience working with young children in early intervention or special education settings
• Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to implement targeted strategies
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to provide services in home and community settings as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized early intervention and language instruction to meet individual student needs
• Provide homebound educational services, supporting students who are unable to attend school in person
• Assess student progress and adapt instructional methods according to IEP goals
