In this essential role, you will serve as the classroom’s instructional and behavioral leader, guiding a dedicated team in delivering individualized education to one or two students per classroom. These students benefit from continuous supervision and a specialized approach, requiring hands-on support, creativity, and a commitment to fostering positive outcomes.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid Special Education teaching license
- Experience working with students exhibiting significant intellectual, behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and/or adaptive needs
- Skill in designing and implementing individualized educational programming and positive behavioral supports
- Strong collaboration skills for working with families, paraeducators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to supervise classroom staff and oversee a highly structured environment
- Comfort with intensive supervision and direct behavioral intervention
- Organizational abilities to manage individualized student planning and documentation
- Interest in sharing caseload preferences and your home area/zip code for optimal placement
