Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Prior experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to provide support in self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching settings

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and track progress of IEPs for assigned students
• Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet each student’s individual needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly regarding student progress
• Perform all general duties expected of a Special Education Teacher
