There are three onsite, full-time positions available—one supporting middle school students and two with elementary-aged students. Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Special Education Teacher Licensure/Certification (required; include verification with your application)
- Prior experience working within school-based special education settings is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff
- Strong classroom management, positive behavioral supports, and diligent documentation skills
- Full-time availability for the upcoming school year (37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
- Commitment to onsite instruction
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized, evidence-based instruction to students on the autism spectrum
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Work collaboratively with classroom staff, support personnel, and families
- Maintain detailed and organized classroom records
- Create an inclusive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
