This rewarding contract position offers the opportunity to work on-site within a vibrant and collaborative school environment, focusing on supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Your expertise in individualized instruction and classroom management will help foster a positive educational experience for students of varying needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Georgia Special Education (SPED) Licensure/Certification required (must provide verification upon submission)
  • Previous experience in school-based special education settings strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff
  • Strong classroom management and documentation practices
  • Full-time availability throughout the 2026/2027 school year (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students with ASD, adhering to their IEPs and learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote inclusive practices and best outcomes for all learners
  • Document progress and maintain records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate fully in IEP meetings, professional development, and staff collaborations
  • Establish a structured and nurturing classroom environment conducive to student growth
