Special Education Teacher - Evans, Georgia

This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced IRR (Instructional Resource Room) educator passionate about providing individualized support and collaborating within a dedicated educational team. You’ll directly serve a caseload of 15–18 students, facilitating growth and ensuring compliance with IEP goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active GaPSC Certification/Georgia General SPED Certification (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience working in school-based Special Education settings
• Strong skills in collaboration and classroom management
• Proficiency with IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Dependable, full-time onsite availability (Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly)
• Reliable transportation for daily commute

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs in an onsite classroom
• Coordinate and implement Individualized Education Plans, tracking progress meticulously
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff to support inclusion and differentiated instruction
• Maintain organized, thorough documentation in alignment with regulatory and district requirements
• Participate actively in parent meetings, IEP reviews, and student progress discussions
• Foster a structured, positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth
