Special Education Teacher | Evans, Georgia

Step into a rewarding contract role providing specialized education in a supportive, school-based environment. This full-time position runs through the end of the 2026–2027 school year with a focus on individualized resource room (IRR) instruction for a caseload of 15–18 students. As an onsite special education teacher, you’ll deliver hands-on support and collaborate closely with general education staff to foster student growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Holds an active GaPSC certification or Georgia General SPED Certification (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based special education settings
• Proven ability to implement and support IEPs
• Strong classroom management and documentation practices
• Skilled collaborator able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Full-time availability, Monday through Friday
• Dependable transportation for daily onsite attendance

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with staff and families
• Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and compliance
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, specialists, and administration to support student success
• Adapt lessons to ensure accessibility and equity for all students
• Foster a positive, structured learning environment
