Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience teaching in special education preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet students’ diverse learning needs
• Experience collaborating with teams, including general educators, therapists, and parents

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and goals
• Deliver engaging instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities in small group or one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to support student progress
• Track and report on student achievement, progress, and areas for growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff professional development opportunities
• Support positive classroom behavior and social-emotional growth for all learners
