What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher credentials in Missouri
  • Experience designing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong ability to fulfill all general duties of a Special Education Teacher
  • Flexibility to support K-12 caseloads in self-contained or resource settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A growth mindset, positive attitude, and robust work ethic

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) and adjust instruction to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Deliver lesson plans and manage classroom activities to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
  • Track student progress, build relationships with families, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events
  • Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
