The position runs throughout the 2026-2027 academic year, starting September 1 and concluding June 16, offering a steady schedule of 32.5 to 35 hours weekly during school hours from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current New Hampshire Teaching License is required.
  • Previous special education teaching experience—particularly in mental health or behavioral classrooms—is strongly valued.
  • Strong skills in evaluation, case management, reporting, and facilitating effective communication during meetings.
  • Compassionate approach and the ability to adapt strategies to individual student needs.
  • Capable of managing a caseload of approximately 10-16 students, ensuring both academic and behavioral growth.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver specialized lessons tailored to diverse learning and behavioral needs.
  • Regularly conduct evaluations and assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Oversee case management duties, including documentation, individualized education plans (IEPs), and parent/guardian communication.
  • Collaborate with staff, therapists, and administrators to foster student success.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of classroom interventions and support strategies.
