Special Education Teacher in Fairfield, AL

Key Qualifications:

• Experience designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and specialized support to a self-contained classroom of 7 students
• Deliver pull-out services to 2 additional students, tailoring interventions to their specific needs
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in partnership with families and the school team
• Employ evidence-based instructional techniques and classroom management strategies
• Track student progress toward IEP goals and report regularly on achievements and challenges
• Create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
• Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions as needed
