In this vital role, you will:

  • Write, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Attend and confidently present at IEP meetings
  • Assess and test students as required
  • Track student progress and document achievement of goals
  • Provide differentiated support to ensure student growth
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff
  • Focus solely on classroom duties, as all case management is handled by district administration

The right candidate will bring:

  • A valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating and applying IEPs
  • At least two years of recent teaching experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
