Key Qualifications:

  • Valid CT Special Education teaching license (endorsement 165 PK-12 required)
  • Experience working with elementary grade levels (K-5)
  • Background in a pull-out/resource classroom preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and individualized instruction
  • Passion for inclusive, student-centered teaching
  • DSAP licenses are not accepted for this opening

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and supports in a pull-out resource setting for K–5 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in alignment with state standards
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Track student progress, update records, and participate in team meetings
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
