Exciting opportunities are available for Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill both Inclusion and Sub Separate K-12 positions (including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Emotional classrooms). The current priority is to hire teachers for Sub Separate classrooms, where you will be supported by 2-3 paraprofessionals as well as an experienced multidisciplinary team, including supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (applicable for K-12)
  • Prior experience working in special education settings is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Comfortable collaborating with a team of support professionals
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Flexibility in working with diverse student populations and adapting to a variety of educational settings

Position Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and support students with a wide range of disabilities in inclusive and sub separate environments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Engage with paraprofessionals and collaborate with BCBAs, Social Workers, and supervisors to maximize student outcomes
  • Foster a supportive and structured classroom community
  • Monitor and assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and school-based team conferences
  • Provide ongoing communication with families and caregivers to ensure strong partnerships
