Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting high school learners as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year! We are seeking two dedicated professionals to serve as Inclusion Teachers for 10th and 12th grade students in a supportive educational environment near Fall River, MA. Take on a meaningful role as the grade level liaison for students with IEPs, playing an essential part in shaping their academic and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Moderate Disabilities 5-12 license/certification (required)
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher within high school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, including drafting and chairing annual review meetings
- Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main contact and advocate for a caseload of 15-20 students on IEPs in either 10th or 12th grade
- Draft and chair annual IEP reviews, ensuring compliance and individualized support for each student
- Provide inclusive instruction and collaborate with general education staff to implement accommodations and modifications
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain consistent, clear communication with families and educational teams
- Participate in orientation beginning 8/24 or 8/25, with a contract start on 8/31/26 and end on 6/24/27
- Work hours are 7:05 AM – 1:58 PM, Monday through Friday
