Special Education Teachers are needed for the 26/27 school year for both K-12 Inclusion and Sub Separate classroom settings, with immediate need in Sub Separate (including ASD and Social Emotional positions). Classrooms are supported by 2-3 paraprofessionals, as well as supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Special Education Teacher certification in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior K-12 experience in Special Education preferred
- Familiarity with ASD and Social Emotional classroom settings a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Deliver direct instruction tailored to student needs in Sub Separate or Inclusion settings
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track progress and adapt instructional strategies to optimize outcomes
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment for all students
