Special Education Teacher Needed

We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students across special education and general education settings. This role focuses on helping students build social skills, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction and services as outlined in student IEPs

• Support the development of social skills, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy

• Provide behavioral and academic support within both special education and general education environments

• Implement behavior regulation strategies and collaborate with school teams to support student success

• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license required

• Experience supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs preferred

• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and compliance

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based school setting
