  • Grade levels: Junior Kindergarten through 5th
  • Caseload: 6-10 students

• Emotional Impairment Categorical Program Teacher

  • Start date: January 2027
  • Service through: June 12th, 2027
  • Grade levels: 2nd through 5th
  • Caseload: 6-12 students

• SXI Categorical Program Teacher

  • Start date: Immediate
  • Service through: June 12th, 2027
  • Grade levels: Preschool through 7th
  • Caseload: 9 students

Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience supporting students with diverse cognitive or behavioral needs
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and support providers
• Adaptability and compassion for student-centered instruction
• Previous relevant classroom experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver individualized instruction and intervention based on student needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Foster a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Track and report on student growth and progress
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievement and challenges
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance and safety standards
