Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Arkansas Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility)
• Previous experience with K-12 caseloads
• Familiarity with both self-contained and resource teaching environments
• Proficient in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Demonstrated commitment to student development and individualized instruction
• Strong communication skills and team-minded approach
• Growth mindset and the ability to maintain a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students with special needs
• Develop and adjust Individualized Education Plans in collaboration with colleagues and families
• Manage classroom behavior and foster a nurturing learning environment
• Track student progress and participate in ongoing assessments
• Collaborate with general education staff and other professionals to maximize student success
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and school activities as needed
