Special Education Teacher - Fenton, MI

As a key member of a collaborative team, you’ll work closely with students, families, and staff to address diverse learning needs across three positions (SPED x 3). Your expertise will support inclusive education and foster an engaging learning environment where every child’s potential can shine.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with varying exceptionalities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop, adapt, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, supportive classroom climate
• Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Provide behavioral support and guidance as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility conferences, and professional development
• Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
