Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation

Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
• Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to ensure consistent support and progress
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide direct instruction, interventions, and accommodations as outlined in IEPs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Actively engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in special education
