What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with middle school students
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and creativity in addressing a range of learning needs
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource teacher for middle schoolers requiring specialized support
• Adapt lesson plans and deliver instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers to facilitate inclusion in the classroom
• Track student progress, update IEPs, and communicate regularly with parents and staff
