Key Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts teaching certification in Moderate Disabilities for the appropriate grade level
• Proven experience in a similar co-teaching or special education setting at the middle school level
• Strong knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs to promote student success
• Effective communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility, collaboration, and a passion for inclusive education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Co-teach in middle school classrooms, supporting students with varying needs
• Collaborate with general educators to adapt curricula and instruction
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain ongoing communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Track student progress and provide tailored support
