Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (MI Teaching Certificate required)

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, students, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and creative problem-solving abilities
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage compliance documentation

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and objectives
• Differentiate instruction to address a variety of learning styles, needs, and abilities
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages emotional, social, and academic growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school support staff, and families to support optimal learning
• Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
