This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on supporting learners in a high school resource setting for grades 9-12 throughout the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet students’ unique needs
- Provide differentiated instruction in a resource classroom setting for high school students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP objectives, adjusting strategies as needed
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages learning and growth
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences
- Comply with all state requirements and reporting procedures related to special education services
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Department of Education Special Education Certification
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card
- Previous experience working with high school students in a resource or special education classroom preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Adaptability, patience, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment
