Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet students’ unique needs
• Provide differentiated instruction in a resource classroom setting for high school students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP objectives, adjusting strategies as needed
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages learning and growth
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences
• Comply with all state requirements and reporting procedures related to special education services

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Department of Education Special Education Certification
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card
• Previous experience working with high school students in a resource or special education classroom preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
