Position Details:

• Full-time schedule: 8:15 am – 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
• School year dates: August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027 (subject to adjustment for snow days)
• Caseload: Up to 12-24 students, divided between morning and afternoon half-day program sessions

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in educational settings
• Skilled in developing, implementing, and differentiating lesson plans
• Proficient in creating and reinforcing IEPs and documenting student progress
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with IEP teams and colleagues
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and active participation in meetings

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering tailored instruction to students in both AM and PM sessions
• Designing weekly lesson plans aligned with prescribed curriculum and students’ IEP goals
• Tracking and reporting on student and goal progress three times annually
• Developing and maintaining current IEPs, including scheduling and facilitating IEP meetings
• Collaborating regularly with the school’s professional learning community (PLC) and pursuing continuing education opportunities
• Contributing to additional program and district initiatives as assigned
