Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with K-2nd grade students preferred
• Strong understanding of adapting curriculum and instruction for diverse learners
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement behavior management strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, support staff, and administration
• Passion for fostering growth and inclusion in a school setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized instruction to meet the learning needs of each student on your caseload
• Create, implement, and monitor IEPs in alignment with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers
• Track student progress and provide regular updates to families and relevant stakeholders
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
