Details:

• Two full-time positions for the 2026-2027 school year
• Hours: 8:15 am – 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch); August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027

What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Valid teaching licensure/certification in Special Education (MO credentials preferred)
• Strong understanding of IEP development and progress reporting
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily instruction to students with special needs in a half-day AM/PM program (caseload: 12-24 students)
• Design and implement weekly lesson plans and incorporate IEP goals
• Follow district curriculum and report on progress/goal attainment three times a year
• Create, implement, and update IEPs; coordinate and conduct IEP team meetings
• Participate in PLC meetings, professional development, and other assigned duties
