- Two full-time positions for the 2026-2027 school year
- Hours: 8:15 am – 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch); August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Valid teaching licensure/certification in Special Education (MO credentials preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEP development and progress reporting
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily instruction to students with special needs in a half-day AM/PM program (caseload: 12-24 students)
- Design and implement weekly lesson plans and incorporate IEP goals
- Follow district curriculum and report on progress/goal attainment three times a year
- Create, implement, and update IEPs; coordinate and conduct IEP team meetings
- Participate in PLC meetings, professional development, and other assigned duties
