Key Qualifications:

• Active GA SPED License, with all required endorsements
• Adaptive Special Education Certification for the elementary setting
• SPED General Curriculum Certification for the middle school setting
• Experience working with students with autism or in adaptive learning classrooms strongly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Position Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week for the academic year (July 2026 – May 2027)
• Opportunity to work at either North Jackson Elementary (Autism self-contained, Level 3) or West Jackson Middle School (ASD Level 1 or Adaptive MI/MO self-contained)
• Dedicated, collaborative team environments
• Onsite presence required; virtual work is not available for this assignment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and supports according to IEPs
• Foster a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and school staff
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district requirements
